Water Based Inks
- We currently have 3 water based inks (WBI) print presses.
- Solvent based inks emit Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) while WBI emmissions are much lower.
- Solvent based inks force companies to use more energy to run incinerators to burn VOC’s.
- WBI are a much better environmental choice and have no negative aesthetic consequences on overall appearance.
- It is the commitment of ink suppliers, printers and customers that will reduce our carbon footprint for our future generations without sacrificing the product appearance or performance through the use of water based inks.
