There are many companies who represent a manufacturer but do not actually manufacture. Do you manufacture your products?
Yes, we have been custom manufacturing since 1961. We have two manufacturing facilities. Our Albany, NY plant has six printing presses, twenty bag machines, and two slitter/ rewinders. Our Thomasville, NC plant has two presses, three in-line printers and fifteen bag machines.

How do I know what type of material I need to package my product?
There are many options available. The end use of the product will dictate the best material to use. Communicating the end use to your Clear View Bag representative will help us to figure out the best options. We are happy to send free samples to make sure the material is correct whenever possible.

Are your bags FDA approved?
Yes. We use FDA virgin resins unless we are instructed otherwise or are told the end use of the product whereby FDA approved resin is not necessary.

What are your minimum order requirements?
It depends. For specialty resins and colors, the minimums are dictated by the amount of film we need to purchase, (usually 200 to 500 pounds). For generic low density, high density and polypropylene requests, we can usually run any desired quantity.

Can I combine stock sizes for quantity discounts?
Yes. We stock a full line of stock flat, reclosable and gusseted poly bags. You can combine sizes for quantity discounts.

Do you make your own custom ziplocks?
Yes. We have four zipper machines that we can manufacture up to six colors and bags from 2.5x3 to 34x50 in gauges from 2 mil to 6 mil.

Can you make plates if I provide usable artwork?
Our NY facility has its own plate making department. If you provide artwork in an Illustrator, Quark or Photoshop file, we can produce photopolymer plates to print the job.

Can you warehouse products for future ship dates?
As long as we have real ship dates at the time of order, we can make and hold product and warehouse for up to a 6 month time period.

Can I get samples to test the packaging before buying?
Yes, we can hand-make samples and ship at no charge as long as the request allows us to use readily available film. If more than a few samples are needed, a small fee is charged to cover machining costs.
