RE: Coronavirus Response and Plan
To our valued customers:
We have been designated an essential business by the NY government. We will continue to remain open. Our “business function is an essential business and/or supports an essential business.” We are very thankful for all the letters we received on our behalf from many clients. They have been a source of inspiration and went a long way to receiving the essential designation.
We are doing all we can to continue production and keep employees safe. The following policies have been put into place.
Visitors: Only essential visitors allowed into the building
Travel: Travel is restricted to emergencies only
Meetings: No more than 2 to a room with a 6 foot distance required
Work from Home: Jobs that can be accomplished either entirely or partially from home have moved to that mode of work.
Supply Chain: As we have been deemed essential we are assuming any company that supplies us will be as well. We are asking all of these suppliers to act in the same manner we have outlined above with regards to safe practices.
Where working from home is not an option, we have implemented plans to keep people safe including but not limited to keeping people at the CDC recommended social distance, washing hands regularly, eating in shifts, and following a disinfecting schedule. Safety signs outline these actions and are posted throughout the plant. Employee safety will continue to be of the utmost importance.
